Hello Everybody! Carrie here with a new layout using the lovely Hello Beautiful Kit. Any other coffee lovers out there? Well, I recently found a replacement for my favorite brand of coffee that is no longer being sold here in America. The replacement is called Umbria coffee and I thought it deserved a layout all it's own lol!! Here's a look at most of the supplies I used:
For the Award Bow, I used the 3D Quad Bow by Jamie Cripps from the Silhouette Design Store. I chose the striped paper from the kit and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. I love the idea of giving my coffee an award! ; )
The clear plastic piece layered behind the instax photo is actually part of my coffee cup which I cut up using my paper trimmer. The blue frame is layered in between the two pieces and all three are adhered to my background paper using red line tape. I also needed something super strong to attach my award bow, so I used red line tape for that too. Then I placed the little red bow from the die cut pack in the center of my award and added a caramel colored enamel dot to bring out the color of my coffee.
Next, I ran the journaling strip through my typewriter and added the date using these pretty metallic thickers from Auburn Lane by Pink Paislee. I popped it up using foam adhesive.
As a final touch, I used the "Hello" from the word die cut pack and also popped it up with foam dots. To bring out more of the caramel color of my coffee I also used a large enamel heart and layered it towards the bottom under the popped up lighter blue heart from the shape die cut pack. Lastly, I used two tiny light pink enamel hearts and paced them above the blue heart....and that's it! The background paper of this layout is one of my favorite from the whole kit and I think it really makes my photo pop!
I hope you enjoyed a look at my process and I'll see you next time : ) Carrie
