Tmika's "Together-Apart" Shaker Embellishment Envelope Mini Album

Hey guys! It’s Tmika again! Here’s my third project as guest designer for The Fairytale Club, featuring the "Together-Apart” collection! Such a pretty paper!!

It’s my first Shaker Embellishment Envelope Mini Album!!!  This is a cute little 5 envelope shaker that can store embellishments. You can make it as big or little as you want. Mine is 5x5. It’s bound together by twine tied on the 1” spine. Tiny little Velcro closes the envelopes. I used the die cuts from the collection to decorate the envelopes. Hey everybody! I am back with another guest design team project for Andrea Bethke. Today I’m sharing a memorydex card.

This loaded memorydex card also includes a shaker element! It’s loaded with lots of goodies from the collection. It has tickets, a tassel, and the gorgeous, thick, word ephemera. I absolutely love those! Not to mention the cute little acrylic hearts add a final touch. I outlined the memorydex card with some gold Stickles - everyone loves Stickles! Tmika's "Together-Apart" Shadow Box Shakers

Hey Everybody! Today I am excited to share this super cute, quick and easy project I made using the “Together-Apart” Collection, created by Andrea Bethke. If you haven’t yet checked out the paper collection, please head over to my YouTube channel to check out the walk through. Super cute papers and ephemera!!!  I altered some Halloween Dollar Tree shadow box frames to make these vibrant and inspirational shaker frames. I absolutely love how they turned out!

I use the 5 x 7 cut out (Hope) in one frame and added shaker bits. For the other frame, I fussy cut some of the wording from one of the 12 x 12 papers and use wet glue to adhere it onto a rainbow background from another 12 by 12. Then I added the shaker bits to that as well. This frame can stand alone on your desk if you add a kickstand, or you can do what I did and add ribbon to the top to hang it.  To finish it off and to add a little dazzle, I hot glued a string of gold colored pearl trim.

Caroline's "Together-Apart" Mini-Album

Wow! Can you believe that 2020 is already halfway over?

With world events and major changes in our daily lives, I was uncertain how to begin documenting this year. I wanted to find a way to capture my family’s story with hope and optimism. I wanted color and whimsy; I wanted a way to stretch my creativity. When Andrea from The Fairytale Club debuted the “Together Apart” collection and the new acrylic albums, I knew I had to have it all!

The acrylic album is the perfect color, size and quality. It fits my pocket pages and bits of ephemera. The “Together Apart” collection is full of gorgeous colors, patterns and sentiments. It is cheerful and feminine, but still perfect to document the everyday. I loved creating shaker pockets using pocket pages and packaging from collection. I pulled some vintage elements in with ephemera and a cute zipper package turned sequin shaker.

Creating this album has been challenging and fun! I’ve enjoyed putting each page together, pulling from the “Together Apart” collection and others. I’ve included pictures of my family enjoying the little things, making the best of every situation and reveling in extra time spent together.

With the year only halfway over, I know we’ll have plenty more to celebrate and I can’t wait to document it all!

On this Independence Day, I definitely feel like so much is upsetting about the state of our country right now...but I want to remember this ideal that our country was founded on and I pray for a brighter future that founding fathers like Alexander Hamilton would be proud of!!! “To the union, to the revolution, and the hope that you provide!”

"Together-Apart" | New Collection Sneak Peek and Pre-Order!!!

Hello there, everybody! Today I want to share with you a fun sneak peek at my next and newest collection! It is called "Together-Apart," and it is inspired by our current and strange situation right now in the world. Yes, that is right...I decided to create a collection that is all about our "new normal," in the hopes that it will not only help you to document these odd and historic times, but also bring you some, well, hope...and maybe a smile or two during this difficult situation. I, myself, have been finding our current situation quite challenging and, frankly, very stressful. But what I have found is that creating right now has really helped me with the anxiety I have been facing due to this new reality. Whether it is scrapping, planning, just playing with pretty papers and goodies...or, well, drawing and designing this collection for you all, for instance...all of this creativity really helps me relax and brings me joy! And I think we could all use more relaxation and joy right now!

Among other things, I included in the collection lots of positive and inspiring quotes and images, as well as some humor...all with the goal to help you all feel inspired, empowered, and uplifted when you see it and create with it!
