Hello everybody! Carrie here, and today I'm sharing two of my go-to ways for adding in extra photos into my October Daily using the Magical and Mischievous Kit.
The first way is definitely my most used, which is to fill up a pocket page with just photos. Here you can see that I filled up the top and bottom pockets each with 4 x 6 photos, and the middle pocket I cute in two and placed it into two 3 by 4 inch pockets.
Because I wanted to tie in more of the Magical and Mischievous Kit I also decided to add one of the journaling strips from the cut apart sheet directly onto my top photo and tuck the cute little bat from the die-cut pack just above it. I popped both up slightly with some foam dots after adding a bit of journaling with my typewriter. Easy peasy : )
The second way of adding in extra photos is to create a custom "pocket". You can do this a variety of ways, but this time I chose one of the planner inserts as my base. I just love both the text and illustration on this insert....so pretty! Once I had the base picked out I chose this cute pumpkin face heart paper and cut it down from 12x12 inches to line the back of my insert. Then I attached the two papers together using red line tape for extra strenght. Next, I used the amazing web design transparency and attached it to the backside of my insert leaving the top and insides open. I only used tape on the edge of the bottom, right, and left. This created my "pocket" with a cool transparent element. Now all that was left was to punch holes in my insert so I could add it into my album and then fill the pocket with photos. I also ended up adding in a couple journaling cards, that went with the feel I was going for, and that's it!
Thanks so much for taking a look at today's project and I'll see you next time : ) Carrie
