Caroline's "Spellbound" Halloween Ornament

Who says SPOOKY can’t be CUTE?

IMG_6441 4.jpeg

I’m loving the new “Spellbound” collection so much! The characters/icons, the kitschy colors and the assortment of ephemera are all so perfect for Halloween. Honestly, I can’t stop using it! I’ve made memorydex cards for my October Daily, layouts for my 2020 album and even some cute décor!

This Halloween ornament features paper, ephemera and sequin mix all from the “Spellbound” collection. I’ve used half of an ornament to create a flat-backed shaker globe that I’ll likely keep displayed year-round. The jack-o-lanterns are so happy, you can’t help but smile! The sequin mix has been curated to perfectly combine traditional Halloween colors with the sweetest pastels. And the papers, my personal favorite, have a fun retro vibe!

I’m having so much fun creating so many spooky AND cute things, I’m still crafting with “Spellbound” even though Halloween is over!

"Spellbound" | New Collection Sneak Peek!!!

Hello everyone! I am super duper, beyond excited to show you our next and newest collection in this sneaky peek -- presenting to you... "Spellbound"!

Yaaaaay!!! Isn't it so beautiful?!!! And amazing?!!! And downright spooktacular?!!! Anyhow, I hope you love this new Halloween collection as much as I do! Many of you know that this is my most favorite time of the year, and so I always love making a new fun Halloween collection each year and of course this year was no different. And I absolutely cannot wait to start making fun spooky crafts with "Spellbound"! I am loving the color palette I used this time - the pink, aqua, yellow, orange, peach, mint and black and white - so fun and fresh for Halloween time! And I cannot wait to see what you all make with this collection too! I think you are all going to have so much fun playing with it. There is such a great new vibe to this collection, and it has that pasteloween feel which I love, but also has a great vintage, mid-century modern look to it too, so it is just the best of both new Halloween and traditional Halloween, in my opinion! More info on inspiration as well as pics of the whole collection will be revealed soon with the upcoming Full Reveal (so stay tuned for that)! Meanwhile, you can pre-order "Spellbound" right now by clicking here...yay!!! Happy Spooky Season everybody!!!

Hugs!!! Andrea Bethke Owner, Founder, Designer, Creator The Fairytale Club

Kellie's Happy Mail Pocket

Hello everybody! The full reveal for our new collection, “I’m in Wonderland,” will be posted soon, and we are so excited to share it with you! In the meantime, we have a few projects to share using previous collections from The Fairytale Club. Here’s talented design team member Kellie Winnell with a cute tag holder and tags, featuring the Magical and Mischievous collection.

2019-08-02 11.05.36Hi there everyone, Kellie here today, it's been a while since I've come to share anything here, but that will soon change as I have some projects I've been working on.  For now let me how you this one.  2019-08-02 11.05.36Sharing something a little different from me today and to be honest this was a bunch of fun to make. So much so that I grabbed a different kit and created same again, more to come on that.  But for this one I grabbed the Magical and Mischievous kit.  So good, still one of my faves.

2019-08-02 11.05.36

I followed the youtube video from the talented @iamabsolutelyalice which was super simple to follow and LOVING the end results with the Magical and Mischievous kit that is still my all time favourite from The Fairytale Club, because @andreabethkedesigns nailed it.

2019-08-02 11.05.36I'm actually really happy with how this came out and might even start looking to make a bunch to send out to make someone day.  But don't hold me to that, I think I'm going to start a lot of things, haha!

Do you send happy mail?

Adeline's Halloween Planner Setup

Hi my fairy friend,

It's Adeline today for the blog, I'm happy to see you again for a bootiful post!!! As I said in my last post, Autumn is my favorite season, and I really love Halloween. I think that Andrea's Halloween themes are the best!!!! Magical and Mischievous is a good witch theme. I love the design, the colors, EVERYTHING!!! I knew this kit would be perfect for my new purple holographic planner from Kikki K, so I made my setup with it.

Magical 1.jpeg

I tried to create a girly magic halloween atmosphere, for that I decided to accentuate the effects with different items from the kit.

First I made my inside cover decor with the blue pumpkin. She is so pretty, and I added so much ephemera, like Halloween candy corn, the pretty witch...finally I added the pom-pom paper clips (I love them so much!!).

Regarding my dashboard, I decided to do it in three separate parts. For the first part I just cut my insert from a sheet of paper decorated with pretty witches. I punched it and integrated it into my planner, and it was the base of my dashboard. Its decoration is very simple - I just glued a ribbon of pom poms onto it.

For the second part of the dashboard, I have my insert with spiderweb acetate, and I chose the purple side of it. I punched it and integrated it into the planner without decorating it. This step will come at the end.

Magical 4.jpeg

For the third part of my dashboard I chose a project life card that I cut and punched. And finally I decorated it with kit ephemera and some crystals in the colors of the kit.

And then, I came back to the second part of my dashboard, the acetate sheet, to which I added decorations suited to the project life card that was added on to it so that everything was harmonious.

Then I chose some pumpkins and the poisoned love apple that I love and the perfect silver foil words "Happy Halloween". Also I made a little cat paper clip with a super cute "Magical and Mischevious" ephemera.

I hope you enjoyed my planner set up with this bootiful kit.

Kiss from France,

Adeline

Kellie's 6x8 Halloween Layout 2: The Spookquel

Kellie here with you today to share a layout I created using the Magical and Mischievous kit that I love to bits! This kit truly has everything and not just for your Halloween crafts as I've shown as we don't celebrate it down here in Australia, per se

2018-10-28 10.46.57.jpg

I feel that using a white cardstock background works so well to then add as much colour as you like. I scrapbook in the 6x8 size. Snap chat to the rescue for a photo and in black and white which, again, makes using colour even better.

2018-10-29 11.09.46.jpg

Layering in a layout is my favourite thing to do. Often I have to stop myself from layering too much, if there is such a thing! I've used the 12 x 12 pattern papers from the kit and with the ephemera also.

2018-10-29 11.09.59.jpg

I've used the acetate web sheet also on the silver side as the other side is purple, which is awesome to have two different colours.

I'm really happy with the end result, and after two layouts, two cards, and a mini album layout, I still have enough of the kit left over for so much more spooky crafting! What are you going to create with your kit?
